John Nichols

Senior Pastor

Pastor John lived in the Chicagoland area for 20+ years and it was there that he came to know Christ while in high school.  It was also there that he met his incredible wife Amy and together they have two great children; Jacob and Anna.  John is a graduate of both Taylor University in Upland, IN and Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, NC.

In 1992 John was first called into ministry with Youth For Christ in Rolling Meadows, IL.  Since then he has served in full-time pastoral ministry in Illinois, Connecticut, and Arizona.  John has been with HBCFH since the beginning as part of the core group that reached out to Harvest North Phoenix in the Spring of 2013 asking for help.  John took over the role of lead pastor at HBCFH in January 2017.  In his spare time, he can be found reading, running, hiking, and doing martial arts.
